Mango (Awisy)

Eweisy mango is one of the most delicious mango varieties in Egypt. It has a medium size and a golden-yellow to orange peel when ripe.

Its taste is intensely sweet and the flesh is soft and completely fiber-free. This makes it perfect for fresh consumption, and less so for smoothies, freshly squeezed juice, or as a baking ingredient.

Its season runs from mid-July to the end of September – and that's precisely what makes it one of the most coveted delicacies that mango lovers await every summer.
